The skinny on our largest organ

Did you get it, the skin IS our largest organ. Hopefully you smiled and used more facial muscles for a mini face lift. I recently went to a Independent Beauty Expo in Manhattan. Wow, the number of conscious entrepreneurs sharing natural, organic skin and beauty products was amazing.

The skin is our largest organ with a total area of about 20 square feet. The skin protects us from microbes, helps regulate body temperature and your skin cells require energy to eliminate toxins to repair and regenerate themselves.
