Is You!  I believe you are the best guru for your body.  However, you may feel disconnected on how to trust yourself to choose the “right” foods.

If I told you, you could eat whatever you want, I have a feeling after a couple of days of “over eating” you would begin to crave whole healthy foods.  You know the feeling after you get back from vacation and you just want to make “your own food”. This is your body telling you it is in need of whole, nourishing foods.

You have the capability to learn about your nutrition at your fingertips. However, most people are confused and don’t trust what they need. You have been taught nutrition by the media, uninformed sources, and your best friend’s mom’s perception.  Now is the time for you to take responsibility and begin to notice how your body feels after meals, every morning, and implementing self-care practices.

Conscious Nutrition is a movement to assist the evolution and connection of your logical side of your brain and your intuitive side.  To live in the world today, you need to utilize and balance both sides of the brain. If you just trust logic and science when it comes to your health, you will feel restricted, overwhelmed, and unsure whom to trust. If you just live your life with the right side of your brain, you may become a bit ungrounded and spend too much time in your emotional body.  So, take in the information, assessing what works for you and what does not. You are the only one who can truly know your body’s messages and provide yourself with what it needs.  The number one thing most people need is being kind to themselves during this self-discovery process.
