Local Raw Sauerkraut

A new booth @ the Farmer’s Market caught my eye the other day, Edible Alchemy. Besides loving the book “The Alchemist”, and loving food, I needed to explore.
Alan is passionate about fermenting vegetables because he loves the way his body feels eating them. This was music to my ears. Someone living their passion and sharing with others.

Fermented products can get a bit confusing. You want to purchase products that are raw and traditionally fermented versus commercial products that have been pasteurized. These products can help the gut to have a healthy environment to fight off disease and improve your immune system.
