How to Start Your Day Right and Lose Body Fat

When you begin your day with these 3 simple steps, your body will rapidly release inflammation, stress, and BODY FAT.

It’s not that hard and we’ll walk you through what you need to do and why. You can even print this and put it on your fridge. Let’s get started!

Step 1 – Hydrate
With in the first 15 minutes of waking, head to the kitchen, grab 12 oz of water, squeeze in half of a lemon, and drink up. It’s important to start the hydration process to provide your body water from a long night of recovery and restoration. Most people with uncontrollable blood sugar and extra body fat are dehydrated. By adding the lemon you are firing up the digestive process to absorb the nutrients from your food for the rest of the day.

Step 2 – Eat Something!
Yes, we said it! Start the day (within the first hour) with a healthy meal. We know a lot of you don’t have time to sit for breakfast. If you are short on time, get started with a handful of nuts or a quick protein shake.

If you have time to make breakfast, make it something you want. Ask yourself “am I in the mood for hot, cold, savory, sweet?” Here are a couple options …

  • Hot & savory: 2 organic eggs, 1/2 cup of egg whites, sauted in coconut oil with spinach, onions and topped with a half of avocado.
  • Cold & sweet: Quality protein powder (at least 20 grams of protein) mixed with 4-6 oz. unsweetened almond milk, kale, chia seeds, coconut flakes, ice and almond butter.

How are you going to lose weight if you start the day with a meal?  When you start the day with a healthy protein meal, you will give your body the proper nutrients to support your body to utilize fat vs. storing it. Your mom was right, breakfast IS the most important meal of the day.

Step 3 – Coffee or Tea
This won’t be easy for some, but wait until after your breakfast to have your coffee or tea. Our goal is for your body to be hydrated and balanced before caffeine, this will provide you with more energy through out the day and reduce the 3 pm crash and burn.

If you follow these steps, you will have given your body the correct amount of protein, carbohydrates (veggies), and fat which will:

  • eliminate blood sugar crashes
  • calm your mind
  • feed your muscle mass
  • support your organs to detoxify and function optimally.

Try this consistently for one week and let us know how you feel. We are sure you will notice a difference and the excess body fat will start to fall off.
