CAF (www.ChallengedAthletes.org) is one of my favorite events to attend in San Diego. The energy, the inspiration, the crowd, and watching people with determination reflect on your own fears.
CAF is a non-profit that supports individuals who have been paralyzed, amputated, and other disabilities to purchase adaptive exercise equipment.
My dear friend Jeremy McGhee participated in the one mile swim. He finished with ease and grace as a gorgeous woman was his swim buddy, if you knew Jer, you wouldn’t be surprised. Jeremy raised over 1500 dollars for the event in about a month’s time. If you would like to still donate visit his personal link or head to ChallengedAthletes.org
