Many of my clients love my recipes and want resources to find healthy and conscious sources.
When reviewing recipes, here are a few items to upgrade:
1. Vegetable or olive oil: Upgrade to either coconut or Grapeseed oil, these oils have a higher heat point and do not denature in quality.
2. Salt: Upgrade to sea salt, this option is less processed and offers more flavor.
3. Seasonings: Purchase organic seasonings and play with the recipe by adding more for enhanced flavor.
4. Purchase organic for the dirty dozen ingredients:Peaches, Apples, Sweet Bell Peppers, Celery, Nectarines, Strawberries, Cherries, Pears, Grapes, Spinach, Lettuce, Potatoes.
When I am trying new dishes, I Google the idea and then take a couple of recipes and combine them to come up with the best product. Here is one of my favorite recipe websites.
