Halloween is quite an interesting day to launch a Nutrition Program. I believe you are NEVER on or off your healthy lifestyle.
So, go, enjoy the fun festivities, have an apple dipped in caramel and then have some roasted pumpkin seeds to balance out the sugar:) Pumpkin seeds offer healthy essential fats, amino acids, Vitamin E, and other minerals that eliminate free radicals.
How to roast pumpkin seeds
1. Rinse pumpkin seeds under cold water and pick out the pulp and strings.
2. Place the pumpkin seeds in a single layer on an oiled baking sheet, stirring to coat.
3. Sprinkle with sea salt and bake at 325 degrees F until toasted, about 25 minutes, checking and stirring after 10 minutes.
