I frequent coffee shops to write, socialize, and relax. I have come up with my own concoctions for healthy meals.



For breakfast, order eggs scrambled with any or all of the vegetables they have on the menu. Then add Lox (smoked salmon) on the side and avocado on top.

For lunch, go for the house salad, with a side of pesto mixed with olive oil and vinegar for the dressing. Instead of having the bagel or pastry, add cucumbers and carrots with hummus as a side dish.

If you can not stay away from their pastry case, then split one with a friend and thoroughly enjoy. Have herbal tea with lemon thirty minutes after to assist in cleansing the liver and balancing your blood sugar.
